    Job Overview

    DP World is seeking a Financial Accountant to support end-to-end finance operations of Integrated Commercial Solutions (ICS). The role involves managing financial reporting, supplier claims, compliance, and working capital. Strong cross-functional coordination between commercial, supply chain, and regional finance teams is essential.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and ensure accurate reporting under IFRS.
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis by Agency and region.
    • Monitor cash flow and working capital (receivables, payables, inventory).
    • Raise Supplier Debit Notes (DNs) on time and track supplier receivables/claims, including Letters of Comfort cases.
    • Coordinate with suppliers, RDCs, and auditors for timely closure of Audits, claims and reconciliations.
    • Ensure compliance with UAE – VAT, corporate tax, and transfer pricing regulations. Kenya Taxation knowledge added advantage.

    Requirements

    • CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in pharma or FMCG distribution.
    • Strong understanding of IFRS, VAT, and supplier claim management.
    • Proficiency in Tally/SAP/Oracle and advanced Excel; Power BI and Power Point knowledge preferred.
    • Excellent communication in English Oral and Written, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
