Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the annual budget and forecasting processes, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax filings, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and investment decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with significant experience as a Financial Controller.
- Proven experience within the commercial real estate or property management industry is a strong asset.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
