Key Responsibilities
- Monitor fire alarm panels and systems for any signs of alarm activation or malfunction.
- Promptly dispatch fire departments and other emergency services as required.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all fire alarm activities, dispatches, and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with on-site personnel and emergency responders.
- Coordinate with security and facility management for testing and maintenance of alarm systems.
- Provide clear and concise information to emergency teams during incidents.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dispatch or emergency services environment.
- Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in using alarm monitoring software and communication systems.
- Relevant professional certifications or training in emergency dispatch or fire safety.
