Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive forest surveys and collect ecological data.
- Assist in the planning and execution of tree planting and reforestation initiatives.
- Monitor forest health, identifying and reporting pest or disease outbreaks.
- Support community engagement programs related to sustainable forestry practices.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of fieldwork and project progress.
- Operate and maintain specialized forestry equipment safely and effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in forestry or environmental fieldwork.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in remote outdoor environments.
- Strong observational skills and meticulous data collection capabilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel extensively as required.
