Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive forest surveys and collect ecological data.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of tree planting and reforestation initiatives.
  • Monitor forest health, identifying and reporting pest or disease outbreaks.
  • Support community engagement programs related to sustainable forestry practices.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of fieldwork and project progress.
  • Operate and maintain specialized forestry equipment safely and effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in forestry or environmental fieldwork.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in remote outdoor environments.
  • Strong observational skills and meticulous data collection capabilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel extensively as required.
