Forklift Operator

Job Overview

Mt. Olive Pickle Company is seeking a Forklift Operator for its Main Plant in Mount Olive, NC. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of forklifts in the production warehouse, ensuring timely handling of finished goods and packaging materials.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to safely load/unload containers and stage finished goods.
• Complete daily pre-operational safety checks and report malfunctions.
• Use scan gun to track inventory, materials, and finished products.
• Restack damaged pallets and ensure accurate warehouse records.
• Maintain warehouse sanitation, including floors, docks, and trailers.
• Follow safety policies and participate in weekly safety meetings.
• Assist supervisors with additional warehousing duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma (additional training preferred).
• Certified forklift operator with valid NC driver’s license.
• Strong math skills (basic calculations and fractions).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk long distances, and work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
