Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert State and Local Tax (SALT) consulting services to FSO clients.
- Lead engagements, including tax planning, compliance, and advisory for state and local taxes.
- Utilize data analytics and advanced technology to enhance tax service delivery.
- Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for additional tax services.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development.
- Stay updated on SALT regulations and market trends impacting FSO clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in state and local tax, preferably within financial services.
- Strong understanding of SALT compliance, planning, and controversy.
- Experience with tax technology and data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
- CPA license or similar professional certification is a plus.
