Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with high accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring adherence to accounting principles.
- Assist in the efficient execution of month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Support the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and reports.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent financial data integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a general ledger accounting role.
- Profound knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively both independently and within a team in a dynamic environment.
