Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global safety protocols for Hitachi Group employees working overseas.
• Establish and manage comprehensive crisis response plans for international incidents and emergencies.
• Collaborate with global subsidiaries and stakeholders to ensure consistent adherence to safety and crisis management standards.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to employee safety abroad.
• Drive initiatives and training programs to promote a strong culture of safety and preparedness across the organization.
• Monitor global geopolitical developments and provide timely insights for proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in global safety, security, or crisis management within a large, multinational organization.
• Strong understanding of international safety regulations, protocols, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop, implement, and manage strategic safety and crisis management frameworks.
• Fluency in English is required; Japanese language skills are a significant advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required for incident response and oversight.
