Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global safety protocols for Hitachi Group employees working overseas.
- Establish and manage comprehensive crisis response plans for international incidents and emergencies.
- Collaborate with global subsidiaries and stakeholders to ensure consistent adherence to safety and crisis management standards.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to employee safety abroad.
- Drive initiatives and training programs to promote a strong culture of safety and preparedness across the organization.
- Monitor global geopolitical developments and provide timely insights for proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in global safety, security, or crisis management within a large, multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of international safety regulations, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop, implement, and manage strategic safety and crisis management frameworks.
- Fluency in English is required; Japanese language skills are a significant advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required for incident response and oversight.
