ORLEN Austria is seeking a highly experienced Head of Accounting to lead its accounting and finance functions in Wels, Upper Austria, Austria. This Director-level position involves overseeing comprehensive financial operations and contributing to the strategic growth of ORLEN as a leading multi-energy corporation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting, auditing, and financial reporting activities for ORLEN Austria.
• Ensure strict compliance with local Austrian and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
• Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team.
• Develop and implement robust internal financial controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with management to provide strategic financial insights and support business objectives.

Requirements

• Proven extensive experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role, preferably as a Director or Head of Accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of Austrian accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrated strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced business environment.
• Proficiency in relevant financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
