Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational management for all midwifery services.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and compassionate midwifery care in line with national standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in clinical practice, patient experience, and outcomes.
• Manage and develop a large, diverse team of midwifery professionals.
• Collaborate effectively with executive colleagues and other clinical leaders to integrate services.
• Oversee resource allocation and budget management for the midwifery department.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a senior midwifery leadership or management role.
• Master's degree in Midwifery or a related health field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Current active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Proven track record of delivering service improvement and innovation.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational challenges and budgets.
