Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction and execution of prototyping initiatives for advanced technology.
• Drive the adoption of 4IR technologies to develop disruptive solutions for defence and beyond.
• Manage the full lifecycle of prototype development, from concept generation to validation and implementation.
• Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the prototyping team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, and commercial teams to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure the development of sovereign capabilities and solutions that enhance national security.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in prototyping, R&D, or advanced technology development, preferably in defence or related high-tech sectors.
• Proven leadership abilities in managing complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with 4IR technologies, cyber-physical systems, or advanced propulsion systems.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
