Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the health programs team and senior staff.
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate travel logistics for team members.
  • Maintain and organize critical program documentation, databases, and filing systems.
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Assist in the procurement of supplies and services, and monitor budget expenditures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to IRC’s administrative policies, procedures, and donor requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive administrative experience, preferably within an NGO or health sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong commitment to humanitarian principles and the mission of the International Rescue Committee.
