    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of health and nutrition programs in Tanzania.
    • Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to field teams on health and nutrition interventions.
    • Ensure all program activities comply with organizational standards and donor requirements.
    • Monitor and evaluate program performance, preparing comprehensive reports on progress and impact.
    • Foster strong relationships with local stakeholders, government agencies, and partner organizations.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in managing health and nutrition programs, ideally within a humanitarian or development context.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, International Development, or a closely related field.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong project management skills.
    • In-depth understanding of health and nutrition policies and best practices relevant to Tanzania.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills in English.
    • Ability to work effectively in challenging and dynamic environments with diverse teams.
