Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of health and nutrition programs in Tanzania.
- Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field teams on health and nutrition interventions.
- Ensure all program activities comply with organizational standards and donor requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, preparing comprehensive reports on progress and impact.
- Foster strong relationships with local stakeholders, government agencies, and partner organizations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in managing health and nutrition programs, ideally within a humanitarian or development context.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, International Development, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong project management skills.
- In-depth understanding of health and nutrition policies and best practices relevant to Tanzania.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in challenging and dynamic environments with diverse teams.
