Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures in line with local regulations and best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across all school campuses.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, reporting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide health and safety training to staff and students to promote a culture of awareness.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and internal standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety inspections, training, and incident reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Officer, preferably in an educational or similar environment.
- Fluency in Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct inspections and audits effectively.
- Relevant health and safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly preferred.
