Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive health education programs for patients and the wider community.
- Provide individual and group counseling on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and chronic disease management.
- Assess patient educational needs and create tailored health plans and interventions.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
- Prepare and distribute engaging educational materials, presentations, and workshops.
- Maintain accurate records of health education activities and patient progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Health Educator or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of health promotion principles, behavior change theories, and public health practices.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and cultural backgrounds.
- Proficiency in developing and delivering impactful educational content.
