Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental management systems and policies.
- Ensure full compliance with national and international environmental regulations.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and regular internal audits.
- Identify and implement opportunities for sustainable practices and resource efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive environmental reports and documentation for regulatory bodies.
- Liaise effectively with government agencies and other stakeholders on environmental matters.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in environmental management, preferably within a manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of Croatian and European Union environmental legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct environmental assessments and drive sustainability initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Fluency in both English and Croatian languages is essential.
