Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement environmental management systems and policies.
  • Ensure full compliance with national and international environmental regulations.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and regular internal audits.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for sustainable practices and resource efficiency.
  • Prepare comprehensive environmental reports and documentation for regulatory bodies.
  • Liaise effectively with government agencies and other stakeholders on environmental matters.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in environmental management, preferably within a manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Croatian and European Union environmental legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct environmental assessments and drive sustainability initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Croatian languages is essential.
