Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HR strategy and operations for Bangladesh and Nepal.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and Action Contre la Faim’s (ACF) HR policies.
  • Oversee recruitment, talent management, and employee relations across both countries.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives to support the organization’s humanitarian goals.
  • Provide expert HR advice and support to country leadership teams.
  • Manage HR budget and reporting for Bangladesh and Nepal operations.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in human resources management, preferably within an international NGO.
  • Proven leadership and strategic HR management skills across multiple country operations.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices in Bangladesh, Nepal, or similar regions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging environments.
