Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of construction and manufacturing sites to ensure adherence to HSE policies and regulations.
- Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend preventative and corrective actions.
- Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and analyses.
- Provide comprehensive HSE training and awareness sessions for staff, contractors, and visitors.
- Monitor and enforce the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to implement and maintain a robust safety culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HSE Inspector, with at least 5 years in the construction or manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct thorough inspections, audits, and develop clear, concise reports.
- Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Relevant professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA).
