Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust HSEQ policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Conduct regular HSEQ audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide comprehensive HSEQ training and guidance to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance, tracking key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with national and international HSEQ legislation, standards, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in an HSEQ role, preferably within the manufacturing or chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence positive change.
- Proven ability to conduct audits, investigations, and develop effective HSEQ solutions.
- Proficiency in relevant HSEQ software and strong analytical skills.
