Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal assistance to refugees and displaced persons.
- Conduct legal awareness sessions and training.
- Assess legal needs and provide individual counseling.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings when necessary.
- Collaborate with other humanitarian actors.
- Ensure compliance with NRC policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant educational background in law or a related field.
- Proven experience in providing legal aid to vulnerable populations.
- Strong understanding of international humanitarian law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in French and local languages is a must.
