Job Overview
STS Aviation Services (through STS Technical Services) is hiring an experienced Interior Painter / Prepper to support world-class aircraft projects in Dubai. Reporting to the Paint Workshop Manager, you’ll prepare, paint, and finish aircraft interior components to exacting OEM/MRO standards—owning masking, priming, top-coating, measurements, and documentation—while maintaining a spotless, FOD-free environment and uncompromising safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare materials, parts, tools, and paperwork at shift start; keep workspace organized and FOD-free.
- Perform surface prep, masking to drawings/WIS; apply epoxy/filler primers, basecoats, and topcoats.
- Conduct wet/dry film thickness and adhesion checks; record results and maintain traceability.
- Interpret latest-revision engineering drawings and technical/quality notices; follow SQMP and site HSE rules.
- Liaise professionally with customers; participate in ongoing skills training and safety initiatives.
- Maintain tools/equipment in clean, serviceable condition; complete tasks to schedule and standard.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ aircraft painting/finishing; auto body/composites fill & finish background preferred.
- Hands-on experience with fiberglass/composites; interiors and exteriors exposure is a plus.
- Able to read engineering drawings; follow verbal/written instructions (basic English required).
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset; capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
