Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software systems, including workstations, servers, and peripherals.
- Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, encompassing LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi networks, and VPNs.
- Provide prompt and effective technical support to users, resolving hardware and software-related issues efficiently.
- Ensure the security and integrity of data, network systems, and digital assets through various measures.
- Implement, monitor, and manage data backup and recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the deployment of new technologies, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as an IT or Network Technician.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), hardware (routers, switches, firewalls), and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving IT and network-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSA) are highly advantageous.
