Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Provide Level 2 support for network incidents, troubleshooting and resolving complex problems efficiently.
- Configure, implement, and manage network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and enforce network security measures and protocols to protect data and systems.
- Collaborate with L1/L3 support teams and other IT departments for effective incident management and project delivery.
- Document network configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides accurately.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network operations, with L2 support expertise.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies.
- Proven experience with network security devices, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and clear communication.
