Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ learning disabilities and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans and academic accommodations.
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students with learning disabilities.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Organize and deliver workshops on study skills, time management, and disability awareness.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, preferably in higher education.
- Strong understanding of learning disability assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
