Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on all company activities, focusing on payment solutions and online business regulations.
  • Serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring strict adherence to GDPR and other relevant data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Monitor and interpret evolving legal and regulatory landscapes, advising the company on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.
  • Develop and implement robust internal compliance policies and risk management strategies.
  • Manage and resolve legal disputes and represent the company in legal proceedings when required.

Requirements

  • Proven professional experience as a Legal Counsel or DPO, ideally within the fintech, payment processing, or online services sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and payment industry regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to clearly articulate complex legal concepts.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and deliver timely and accurate legal counsel.
  • Relevant legal degree and professional qualifications.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Greek will be considered an advantage.
