Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on complex financial transactions and development projects.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including financing agreements.
- Ensure compliance with international legal standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on legal matters.
- Support the legal framework for IDB Invest’s operations in member countries.
- Contribute to the strategic development of legal practices within the institution.
Requirements
- Strong legal background with expertise in finance, corporate law, or international development.
- Proven experience working in an international or multilateral organization environment.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a significant advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
