Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Resource Centre’s collection and databases.
  • Provide research and information services to staff supporting economic policy formulation.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance resource centre usage and outreach.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and relevant economic research.
  • Assist in the management of the division’s knowledge management initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a library or resource centre setting.
  • Proficiency in library management systems and digital resource platforms.
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with ministry staff.
  • Knowledge of economics and trade is an advantage.
