Job Overview

Mandarin Oriental is seeking a Lifeguard in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of guests using the swimming pool and recreational facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of all guests in and around the pool area.
• Monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules and regulations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents.
• Perform rescues and administer first aid and CPR as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck and surrounding areas.
• Inspect pool equipment and facilities for safety hazards.

Requirements

• Valid Lifeguard certification (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent).
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Excellent observation and vigilance.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
