Key Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor swimming areas, including pools and beaches, to ensure the safety of all guests.
• Enforce all safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond immediately and effectively to all emergencies, performing rescues, first aid, and CPR/AED as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of pool decks, equipment, and surrounding facilities.
• Provide exceptional guest service, assisting with inquiries and promoting a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
• Conduct regular checks of pool chemical levels and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.

Requirements

• Current Lifeguard certification from a recognized authority (e.g., UAE Lifeguard, ILS, STA, RLSS).
• Valid First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications.
• Excellent swimming skills, strong physical fitness, and stamina.
• Exceptional observational skills and clear, effective communication abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and act decisively under pressure in emergency situations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in a resort environment.
