Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert entrepreneurial support and guidance to local beneficiaries.
- Develop and implement sustainable development projects in alignment with AVSI’s mission.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and propose effective interventions for community growth.
- Monitor project progress diligently and report accurately on outcomes and impacts.
- Collaborate effectively with local communities, government bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to AVSI’s ethical standards and national regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in entrepreneurial support, community development, or project management.
- Strong understanding of the local economic context and challenges in Uganda.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural and diverse team environments.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of relevant local languages is a significant advantage.
