Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate logistics operations for the timely delivery of essential supplies.
  • Oversee inventory control, warehousing, and distribution activities across multiple field locations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with UNICEF’s logistics policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with local partners and stakeholders to optimize supply chain efficiency and reach.
  • Support emergency response efforts by rapidly deploying and managing critical resources.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on logistics performance, challenges, and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Proven relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably within humanitarian settings.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in challenging, remote, and multicultural environments.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management software and standard office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
