Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate import/exports/local clearance and schedule based on customer needs and priorities.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations and productivity output.
- Track shipment’s progress, note delays, and inform the consignee.
- Process customs documents as per Customs regulations.
- Ensure all jobs are closed and billed within the given timelines.
- Contribute to a clear communication process across departments and highlight critical parts of the same.
Requirements
- Graduate, university degree preferably with a diploma in logistics/shipping/export.
- 2 – 4 years in a similar job in the freight or logistics industry.
- UAE Driver’s License, preferably.
- Customer-oriented and good telephone etiquette.
- Strong Knowledge of freight forwarding & local customs regulations.
- Proficient knowledge of computers especially in MS Office & Outlook.
