Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the facility, including minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify and address potential maintenance issues proactively.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are in safe working order and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Assist in coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs and larger projects.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of general maintenance, including light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and lift moderate weight.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to older people.
  • Commitment to providing a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
