Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately estimate quantities and costs for marble, granite, ceramic, and quartz stone projects.
  • Prepare detailed quotations and bids based on project specifications and client requirements.
  • Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documents to determine material and labor needs.
  • Collaborate with sales, procurement, and project management teams to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Maintain current knowledge of material pricing, market trends, and industry standards.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure competitive pricing for all proposals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Estimator, specifically in the stone, tiling, or building materials industry.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
