Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment on offshore facilities.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems and components.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective corrective actions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document all maintenance activities and report any significant issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in the oil and gas or offshore industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
