Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe medical reports, patient histories, and other clinical documents.
• Ensure the completeness and precision of all transcribed medical records.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
• Operate various transcription equipment and software with proficiency.
• Review and edit drafts for grammatical errors, spelling, and clarity.

Requirements

• Entry-level candidates welcome; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
• Excellent listening skills and high typing speed (WPM).
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, human anatomy, and pharmaceutical names.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in medical transcription software and standard office applications.
