Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using various ETL tools and programming languages.
• Implement and optimize data storage solutions, ensuring data quality, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate effectively with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver robust data solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data flow issues.
• Contribute to data governance, data cataloging, and metadata management initiatives.
• Stay updated with emerging data technologies and contribute to architectural discussions and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, backend development with a data focus, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
