Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s AML/CTF framework and policies.
  • Monitor and report suspicious transactions and activities to relevant authorities.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide guidance on compliance matters.
  • Oversee the company’s client due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes.
  • Deliver AML/CTF training to staff and ensure awareness of regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all AML/CTF-related inquiries and regulatory inspections.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in an MLRO or senior compliance role within the financial services or insurance sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE AML/CTF laws, regulations, and reporting obligations.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA Diploma in AML) are highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex compliance issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
