Job Responsibilities
- Verify and complete all required mortgage loan documentation for processing and closing.
- Assist in scheduling loan closings, issue adverse action notices, and prepare approved loans for the Closing Department.
- Provide clear communication with applicants, loan officers, and management regarding loan status and outstanding documentation.
- Ensure compliance with lending regulations and internal policies.
- Secure and review property appraisals.
- Manage a pipeline of active loans, prioritizing activities to meet closing and rate lock deadlines.
- Provide support on more complex cases and serve as a resource for less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in mortgage processing.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, compliance knowledge, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FHA, VA, and USDA loan processing experience.
- Familiarity with Down Payment Assistance programs.
