Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of hand and upper extremity conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide specialized therapeutic interventions, including splinting, manual therapy, and exercise.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document progress effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid professional license/registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Specialized training or certification in hand therapy is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
