Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize BESS efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and ensure cost-effective practices.
• Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and Masdar’s internal policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project management, and commercial teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a closely related technical field.
• Proven experience of 5+ years in operations management, preferably within the energy sector or BESS projects.
• Strong understanding of battery technologies, grid integration, and renewable energy systems.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in operational management software, data analysis, and reporting tools.
