Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify specific learning difficulties in students.
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group intervention sessions.
- Utilize specialized teaching methods and tools to address learning challenges.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with parents and teachers to ensure a cohesive support system.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Orthopédagogue or Special Education Teacher.
- Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and effective learning environments.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Fluency in French is highly preferred given the location.
