Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces of heavy machinery by cleaning, sanding, and masking for painting.
- Apply primer, paint, and other protective coatings using spray guns and other appropriate tools.
- Ensure paint application meets quality standards and specifications for durability and finish.
- Operate and maintain all painting equipment safely and effectively.
- Mix and match paint colors accurately as required for various machinery.
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform necessary touch-ups or repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial painter, specifically with heavy machinery or equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of surface preparation techniques and paint application methods.
- Proficiency in operating spray painting equipment and other relevant tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
- Adherence to safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Physical ability to perform duties in various industrial environments.
