Key Responsibilities

  • Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees across 38 Catholic schools.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industrial awards, legislation, and organizational policies.
  • Manage superannuation, PAYG, and other statutory deductions.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from staff and provide necessary support and clarification.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and external bodies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a payroll processing role, preferably within an education or not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and awards.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and stakeholders.
