Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees across 38 Catholic schools.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industrial awards, legislation, and organizational policies.
- Manage superannuation, PAYG, and other statutory deductions.
- Respond to payroll inquiries from staff and provide necessary support and clarification.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and external bodies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a payroll processing role, preferably within an education or not-for-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and awards.
- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and stakeholders.
