Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process payroll for a diverse employee base accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Prepare comprehensive payroll reports, analyses, and forecasts for management and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with changes in social and tax legislation impacting payroll and ensure their correct application.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within payroll operations.
  • Actively participate in the development and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Maintain precise employee data and records within HR systems, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of 5+ years as a Payroll Officer, ideally within the Belgian market.
  • In-depth knowledge of Belgian social and tax legislation pertinent to payroll processing.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Proactive mindset with a keen interest in growing into Compensation & Benefits responsibilities.
