Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Maintain and update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department transfers.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports for accounting and management analysis.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and attendance.
• Assist with audits by providing records and documentation as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar financial role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, systems, and relevant legislation.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
