Job Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Worker, you will:

• Provide high-quality, safe, and timely personal care tailored to residents’ needs.
• Assist with daily living activities including self-care, safe mobility, and transfers.
• Support residents to maintain independence, dignity, and comfort.
• Engage with residents to deliver services that align with their interests and choices.
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare partners to ensure effective and consumer-focused care.
• Work flexibly across a variety of shifts (mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends).

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 12 months’ prior experience in a care role (at least 20 hours per week).
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Australian working rights.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current seasonal flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain).
• COVID-19 vaccination evidence.
