Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and technical assistance on policy coherence for sustainable food systems.
  • Conduct analytical research and assessments on environmental policy integration at national levels.
  • Support the implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development goals.
  • Engage with national and international stakeholders to foster collaboration and partnerships.
  • Contribute to the development of reports, policy briefs, and knowledge products.
  • Advocate for environmental protection and sustainable practices in food systems.

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in environmental science, public policy, sustainable development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in policy analysis, environmental management, or sustainable food systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of UN environmental mandates, international agreements, and sustainable development goals.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Armenian or other UN official languages is an asset.
