Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update banking policies and procedures in line with local and international regulatory frameworks.
- Ensure that all operational activities within the bank adhere strictly to established policies and internal guidelines.
- Conduct thorough impact assessments for new regulations or business initiatives on existing policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to facilitate the effective implementation of new policies and provide necessary training.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented policies and recommend proactive adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Provide expert guidance and advisory support on policy-related matters to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in policy development, implementation, and management within the banking or financial services sector.
- Profound understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and risk management principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex policy concepts clearly.
- Proven leadership qualities and exceptional organizational skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field is highly preferred.
