Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and update banking policies and procedures in line with local and international regulatory frameworks.
  • Ensure that all operational activities within the bank adhere strictly to established policies and internal guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough impact assessments for new regulations or business initiatives on existing policies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to facilitate the effective implementation of new policies and provide necessary training.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented policies and recommend proactive adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert guidance and advisory support on policy-related matters to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in policy development, implementation, and management within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Profound understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and risk management principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex policy concepts clearly.
  • Proven leadership qualities and exceptional organizational skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field is highly preferred.
